Aura Cozumel - Resort Grand Opening

Aura Cozumel by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, enjoyed their grand opening in April 2008, and is the first clothing optional~adults only resort in Cozumel. Aura Cozumel boasts two fabulous restaurants; Isola - meaning island in Italian - where guests can enjoy signature gourmet Italian-Mediterranean fusion cuisine created by an experienced team of internationally qualified chefs; Hava Grill - the word Hava means Aura in Turkish - serving truly delicious seafood cocktails and light Mexican-Caribbean delicacies by day and select grilled cuts of fresh meat, fish and seafood by night.

Room Categories:  Oceanview Suite, Suite with Solarium and Private Pool, and fantastic Swim Up Suites. Each guestroom has an ample terrace set in harmony with the natural surroundings. The living area is equipped with flat screen high definition plasma TV, wireless high speed Internet connection, Bose audio system, DVD/CD or iPod player, and unique controlled illumination system. The bedrooms provide a “Comfort Line” king size or two queen size beds. Each guestroom is equipped with minibar and safe deposit boxes. All elements of wood, stone and tapestry were carefully and harmoniously selected, as well as international spa brand amenities in bathrooms.

Bars:  The resort also offers three bars - beach, lobby and solarium - which are perfect for relaxing with a specialty Martini whilst taking in Cozumel’s breathtaking sunsets. Room Service is available 24 hours a day.

Aura Cozumel offers a solarium, 3 outside Jacuzzis, water mirror with adjacent relaxation pool, lazy river leading into our magnificent interconnecting pool, fully equipped fitness center, boutique, business center and meeting facilities. Our guests can also enjoy priority service golf at Cozumel Country Club and direct access to the wide-ranging Islander Spa.

Contemporary in design, the hotel’s spacious suites are dispersed in four low-rise buildings. Ground-level rooms offer direct pool access from their patios. Each area pool is connected to a central “lazy river” pool, a focal point of the property.

The resort offers three bars, 24-hour room service, two dive shops, a private pier, two meeting rooms, a business center, wireless Internet and a comprehensive activities program.
