Hidden Beach Resort

Hi,
My wife and I will be first time guest at HBR. In fact, it is our first time at any clothing optional beach. We are very excited and looking forward to this experience. We have read many reviews of HBR, Hedo, Desire, etc., and are quite satisfied with what HBR has to offer as we are not swingers. That said, I have also joined several forums to pick up ideas about beach etiquette and am now confused on what to expect.

Is this forum open to frank, discreet discussion concerning nudity? I will await a reply before continuing.

Some of the posts we have read on other forums really caused us to have second thoughts about going to a clothing optional beach. One in particular that was discussed quite a bit was "unwanted erections". OK, I understand this could be an issue but several of the posts made it sound like you would be an outcast if this happened. Some said if you want to be a "Naturist" that you should be able to control yourself. Well, I may be wrong but it sure sounded very judgemental to me. I have never been to a clothing optional resort but I do know how to act discreetly and respectfully around others regardless of my surroundings. In addition, if I am going to get a boner then it is going to happen. At 58 years old I sure am not going to run and hide because of elitist attitudes or as I now call them, expert nudists. There were also posts stating that men and women should not shave or groom their genital areas. Seems that would be a personal preference and not something to be approved by the experts. Jack, do you know if this attitude will present itself at Hidden beach Resort?  Thanks for listening and allowing my wife and I to express our concerns. Have a great day.

I also wanted to address your concern below.  That is not the case, and I've never ever seen anyone judged based on an erection.  It has been my experience that we are all adults and we all know that erections are a natural occurrence.   I've seen it many times, and never noticed anyone making anything of it.    I think that the people who speak out about it are the ones who have a problem with it happening to themselves!    That's just my opinion.   

As for personal grooming, without going into whether or not I do or do not myself, I have found there to be a healthy mixture of both groomed and natural.  It's simply a matter of preference and you will see both.
