I stayed at this hotel and it was really good for the price. A short ride from the airport, this hotel offered everything you could want in a family vacation.  I was in the taller (main) building and my view was great. The room was very basic, but clean. There are other buildings with rooms that are on the beach. Some faced the gardens (which were VERY well maintained and beautiful).  There is a great children's area with a wonderful pool. It was always packed, but did not seem crowded.  I was on the beach the whole time. The beach was not large, but it was long. I found the perfect spot, not too far  from the nude beach. It was quiet and there were ample lounge chairs. There is a nice nude beach that didn't get much action. It was in the perfect spot though.  The food was good. I liked the specialty restaurants. I liked that there were many items on the menu for children of all ages. Not a fancy hotel, but a good choice for families or someone not wanting to break the bank. I have pictures if you want them.

I agree!!!  Sunset Beach in Montego Bay Jamaica offers vacationers a great all inclusive value in a great location!   I have stayed there numerous times and consistently found the staff to be very eager to please.  The views from the oceanfront rooms in the high rise buildings are spectacular with lush green mountains in the back ground along with the vast huge ocean and beach right before you from your balcony!  If you're looking for a quiet area, it can usually be found.  If you're looking for activity - go to the pool bar/lobby area where there's usually some form of entertainment going on.  Also available to you with a short taxi ride is the hustle and bustle of the city that offers great shopping at the local craft markets or more traditional store fronts on the "Hip Strip".  Restaurants, rum bars, and night life are also abundant.  Don't be afraid to try the Jerk Chicken that locals on the street are selling....it won't disappoint!!!!
